The visual arts are art forms that create works which are primarily visual in nature, such as ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, and more modern visual arts (photography, video, filmmaking and architecture).
The Gallery in Guernsey are looking to sell products made by Channel Islanders. The Gallery is a lovely arts and crafts place in the old quarter of Guernsey in Mill Street and they do a range of exhibitions and workshops.

The Bar Gallery is available for exhibitions free of charge and can be booked for a minimum of two weeks or a maximum of four. All exhibition sales are subject to a 20% commission charge. The space is only suitable for two dimensional works.

The Berni Gallery is a popular exhibition space on the first floor of the Jersey Arts Centre. In order to hold an exhibition you must submit a proposal in accordance with the Jersey Arts Centre¹s Policy and Selection Criteria for Exhibiting. The hiring charge for 2007 is £95 per week for a minimum of two weeks or a maximum of four. All exhibition sales are subject to a 20% commission charge.

The Harbour Gallery part of the not for profit Jersey Charity no 238 Art in the Frame Foundation both are run entirely by volunteers. The gallery has 8 creative design studios, 3 artist studios, a picture framer, music school and The Gallery Cafe. It hosts 12 major exhibitions a year and is home to the internationally famous Jersey Textile Showcase. At any one time it exhibits the work of up to 100 local artists and craftworkers. The Harbour Gallery is open 7 days a week 10.00am - 5.30pm, 360 days a year!
