The Jersey Eisteddfod was founded in 1908 by the former Dean of Jersey. There are currently two Festivals held annually: The Festival of Creative Arts, held in March - This includes Sections for Adult and Youth Art & Craft, Needlework & Textile Art, Photography, Handwriting, Floral Art and Schools Art & Craft. The Festival of Performing Arts held in November, includes Sections for Music, English Speech and Drama, Dance, Jerriais, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish.
