The Jersey Academy of Dancing was established by Miss Valerie Guy, in 1941, since then it has delivered fun and imaginative classes to many girls and boys of all ages. Our Objectives are to encourage the highest possible standard within every pupil's competence but equally for them to have fun. We pride ourselves on our modern approach combined with traditional values.

The Club started in October 1967 specialising in Ballroom, Latin and popular Sequence dancing to live music runing dances on an almost fornightly basis and is based at Trinity Parish Hall. The First Tower School of Dancing is an established school which has been providing dance tuition since 1969. It currently has a register of approximately 300 pupils covering Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Street Jazz, musical theater classes and Scottish Highland Dancing . Pupils regularly take exams, enter competitions both amateur and professional in Jersey, Guernsey and on the mainland . We have many notable successes in the local Eisteddfod and have brought back cups from competitions overseas.
