Ashiki means passion in Swahili and we are certainly passionate about the music. We perform infectious African and Brazilian get up and dance rhythms and play a huge variety of instruments from djembes, balafons, congas, douns-douns, flute and much more. We are a multicultural band with members from all over the World; you'll usually find us performing in Howard Davis Park in the long summer evenings.

The Band was originally formed in 1876.The Band of The Island of Jersey differs from the tradition of Brass Bands in that they have a Corps of Drums, members of which, over the years have received training by HM Royal Marines, a relationship which has been nurtured by the Band executive for many years. During the summer season the Band takes on twenty five engagements on evenings and weekends. The Band can be seen at regular concerts and marching displays in Howard Davis Park.

We do Acoustic and Electric sets for corporate and private events. Our sets include an eclectic mix of blues, folk and rock. We offer either an acoustic set, an electric set, or a mix of the two. We have a range of style which include playing with two guitars and an african drum to a full drum kit, electric guitar and/or bass.

Bossa Basseline Music, are full time professional musicians who create the perfect live soundtrack for weddings, drinks receptions, dinners and corporate events. Featuring the sophisticated sound of Jules on tenor saxophone and Carole on guitar, we are full-time pro musicians who tailor our repertoire of over 500 tunes to your requirements: our client feedback is outstanding and we've been performed at over 1500 events in the last 8 years.

Sarah, Clare and Nick are building a repertoire including classical, jazz, film and traditional music. Current favourites include; Hartley Suite (Hornpipe, Waltz, March); Norris dances; Teddy Bears' Picnic; Weissenborn Trios (esp. Polka and Turkish March); Stubbs; Jazz Folk Suite and Jazz Tchaikovsky

We are a female singing trio, singing contemporary and classical music and specialising in acapella singing.

The quartet consists of four versatile professional jazz musicians from Jersey that specialise in professional performances. Able to perform as an excitingly authentic jazz feature. The group play a selection of Bebop, jazz tunes, standards from the American song book, ratpack favourites, original jazz compositions, Latin jazz, bossa nova and ballads.

Five brass players who have pleasure playing for concerts, events and other occasions (parties, fetes, bazaars etc). Please contact us for availability, play lists and rates.

Country dancing fun for all ages, where the dances are played and called - the 'caller' carefully explaining the easy patterns which form the dances, which are then set to music, whilst the movements continue to be called.
